Our team recently gathered for an offsite in New York City! After months of Zoom sessions and offline discussions over Discord and Slack, we were finally able to plan out a trip and have the team together in-person for the first time. We wanted to use this time to brainstorm on product next steps and make a lot of memories together. We met up with some new & old friends as well!

What we accomplished ⚡

Over the course of ten days, the team worked hard on defining roadmaps and delivering product updates for Kudos. Every day, hours flew by in our co-working office as we discussed product priorities, worked on building new features, and bonded over jokes and food.

Some of our offsite accomplishments:

• Brainstormed on marketing, strategy, and product roadmaps. 🧠
• Completed design and started implementation for a Discord bot to send Kudos. 🤖
• Migrated Kudos from xDAI to Polygon. You can now view your Kudos on Opensea, Rarible, and more! ⛓️
• Launched our app in beta and a few new features such as Kudos claps! 👏 (Tweet thread)
• Finished our recruiting page and hired our first frontend engineer! 🧑‍💻

Memories we made ✨

Not only did our team increase our productivity through in-person collaboration, but we also become much closer through new experiences and memories. To add on, we used this offsite as an opportunity to meet up with our friends in the city and enjoy the many cafes and restaurants Manhattan has to offer.

Some of the memories we made:

• Painted trees and sipped wine at paint nite. 🎨
• Hosted a web3 penthouse party and gave out custom event kudos! 🎉
